Eric Roehm, M.D.,

Dr.
Roehm is board certified in cardiology. He went to medical school at
Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He subsequently spent
three years in an internal medicine residency at the University of New
Mexico program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was followed by a
fellowship in cardiac rehabilitation through Harvard Medical School at
Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Mass. Gen. Hospital, and Mass Rehab
Hospital. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at the University
of Texas at San Antonio.
Following
the completion of his training, Dr. Roehm was in practice as a
cardiologist for over 20 years including care of patients presenting
with hypertension, heart attack, and cardiac arrest, as well as the
performance of balloon angioplasty and the placement of stents into
diseased arteries of the heart.
Dr.
Roehm has a long standing interest and focus on the proper
interpretation of medical trials and medical studies and created this
web site in 2005. Dr. Roehm retired from private practice as of
2007 .He currently is involved in multiple nonprofit projects in the
medical field. This includes the proper application of statistics in
the medical literature, developing patient education materials for
patients with hypertension, and serving at a medical clinic in Austin,
Texas which treats the medically indigent.
